I grew up around tri-state area of Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. I have made living in the Pittsburgh area a goal of mine from a young age and I am happy to now call it my home. I returned to West Virginia to attend the West Virgina University College of Law, where I received high marks for my work in both oral and written advocacy. While receiving my education, I also participated in multiple trial competitions and honored to represent the College of Law in a traveling trial competition here in Pittsburgh.
Before coming to Morrow and Artim, my legal experience started with representing clients unable to afford legal service. Through the College of Law, I gained experience in matters of Domestic Law working with the Clinical Law Program. I also spent some time with the Public Defender’s Office in West Virginia where I represented clients accused of all crimes including Rape, Domestic Violence, Assault, Sexual Assault, Battery, Disorderly Conduct, and most importantly, DUI’s.
Since coming to Pittsburgh, I have continued to expand my practice and experience representing clients in and out of the Courtroom. I have appeared in Court at all steps of the legal process, including Preliminary Hearings, Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition, Phoenix Court, Arbitration, Child Support Hearings, Motions Court, and Trials. I am not afraid to go to the Courtroom and will do what is necessary to provide you the best outcome.
Finally, I take pride in my clients and my relationship with them. I sit down with clients face-to-face for consultations, I return phone calls, and keep them up to date on the progress of their cases. If you want to have your case or claim handled by a well mannered, knowledgeable, very competent and respected attorney who cares about his clients, then call my office today at (412) 823-8003 and ask for Matt.
