The focus of my practice is based on Consumer Law issues in Pennsylvania. I have a great deal of experience in handling credit card and collection agency lawsuit defense matters across all of PA. Over the past few years, I have handled about 15 new collection agency or credit card cases each month, with tremendous success. I have appeared in front of numerous arbitration panels, attorneys, judges, district justices and others in handling these serious consumer matters.
I also handle defective vehicle cases under the Pennsylvania Lemon Law and the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act. I typically only take on cases where the vehicle in question is 5 years old or less, and where the defect in question arose under the original manufacturer's warranty period.
At my first law firm, I was the managing attorney for the Collections and Subrogation division, and worked in that capacity for 4 years. During that time, I gained quite a perspective into how collection cases were handled by both the major financial institutions and the county courts of our Commonwealth.
In my legal career, I have also represented several large insurance carriers so I have an insider's knowledge as to how insurance companies handle claims and how they decide what the claims are worth.
